Arlington Public Schools will hold the following information sessions related to the application process for TJHSST : October 1st at Gunston Middle School [2700 S Lang St, Arlington, VA 22206] : 6:00pm in the theater; register here- https://forms.gle/PYUKmDHx8NpmQALJA October 14th at Dorothy Hamm Middle School [4100 Vacation Ln, Arlington, VA 22207] : 6:00pm in the theater; no registration required 8th graders who meet the following criteria are invited to attend either of these information sessions to learn about Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. For more information about THHSST admissions, please visit their website. Eligible students must be:
- Currently in 8th grade
- Enrolled in Honors Algebra I or a higher-level math course
- Taking science honors and at least one other honors course(e.g., English, Civics, or identified as a Young Scholar)
- Earned a 3.5 GPA or higher (7th grade + first quarter of 8th grade)
- Passionate about STEM
