About Kenmore PTSA

The Kenmore PTSA hosts school community-building events such as Outdoor Family Movie Nights, after-school and evening dances for students, and guest speakers and experts on parenting and school issues. We also fund grants for staff to support classrooms and students, while also providing financial support for end-of-year grade-level events. We sponsor teacher appreciation activities throughout the year, such as our “Cookies and Cocoa” event right before Winter Break, “March Gladness” before Spring Break, and Teacher Appreciation Week in early May. We also support the monthly meetings with our EL families, including helping with preparing and providing dinners for our families.

Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 6:00 p.m.:  Family Festival & Bingo Night at Kenmore

The Kenmore PTSA will be hosting a Family Festival & Bingo Night for families and students this Thursday, September 26 starting at 6:00 p.m. in the Kenmore Cafeteria. Kenmore staff with the Hispanic Heritage Month Committee have been working hard to put together an educational and fun program!To celebrate and recognize Hispanic Heritage Month, the event will include:

• A cooking demonstration from guest speaker Chef Carla, who will talk about her Mexican heritage;
• A rice and bean meal prepared by Kenmore Family Liaison Specialist, Ms. Yerovi;
• A taco bar from Chef Charles;
• A performance from Bolivian Dance troops!

And of course, students and families can also play Bingo (traditional and Loteria Card Game) for a chance to win wireless Beats and AirPods headphones and gift cards! There will be plenty of free food, as well as a food truck if you’d like to purchase some ice cream/snow cones!

Tuesday, October 8, 2024, 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.: Dine-Out at Chipotle
