TAB – Teen Advisory Board or Teens Talking About Books
What is TAB book club?
TAB stands for Teens Talking About Books. It’s a book club sponsored by the Arlington County Public Library, which means we get a super awesome Arlington County public librarian who comes to our TAB meetings! When you join TAB, you get first access to some really great books. We have about 40 TAB books you can choose from. You can check out a TAB ebook, audiobook, or print book from Kenmore’s catalog, Destiny, or from the Arlington Public Library (Links to an external site.). You’ll read your TAB book on your own and then join our TAB book club meetings twice per month during lunch! In our TAB book club meetings, you’ll get to hear from other students and learn what they’re reading. You’ll also get an opportunity to share your own book recommendations. TAB book club also has fun events every year. Every year, TAB book club members get to meet an author for an author visit, and we also have a TAB party at the end of the year. To become a TAB book club member, come to our first meeting during your lunch on Tuesday, October 26th.
