Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology Information Sessions: Representatives from TJ will hold the following information session for families to learn about the application process for TJHSST :

September 14th at Williamsburg Middle School [3600 N Harrison St, Arlington, VA 22207] 7:00 pm in the auditorium; no registration required

October 5th at Gunston Middle School [2700 S Lang St, Arlington, VA 22206] 6:00 pm

8th graders who meet the following criteria are invited to attend either information session to learn about Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. For more information about THHSST admissions, please visit their website.

Eligible students must be:

• Currently in 8th grade
• Enrolled in Intensified Algebra I or a higher-level math course
• Taking science Intensified and at least one other Intensified course(e.g., English, World Geography, or identified as a Young Scholar)
• Earned a 3.5 GPA or higher (7th grade + first quarter of 8th grade)
• Passionate about STEM
